The Alma blouse

I was so excited back in Early June when I got an e-mail from Tasia from Sewaholic to ask whether I would be interested in testing her latest pattern. The Alma Blouse.

It was excellent timing. I had just finished my Colette Pattern Pastille dress and could not decide what to make next. I had sewing block as it were!!

Tasia e-mailed a group of us the pdf of the pattern which we were to print out. The pattern has three different versions of the blouse. View A has cap sleeves and a notched neckline. View B has elbow length sleeves and a Peter Pan collar. View C has a round neckline and full-length sleeves.

All of the necklines work with any of the sleeve options so you could make nine different shirts. For pattern testing Tasia wanted us to test one of the three views as written.

I chose View C which has cuffs and a placket. The fabric I chose was a soft lawn in bright summery colors.

It was very quick and easy to sew up. As always Tasia's instructions are very clear and easy to understand.

I have worn this blouse several times it is both comfortable and flattering! I have also got  View A cut out on my sewing table.

Go on, get the pattern, you know you want an Alma blouse as well!!
