Me Made Holiday?

I was just going through my holiday photos when it struck me that, that without even realizing it, part of my holiday was self stitched clothing.

To start, the day before we left for our holiday (Christmas Eve) I did a big Christmas dinner for the friends we were going on holiday with as we were traveling on Christmas Day. Here I am wearing my Cadence sweater and self stitched apron.

Above is a friend and I on the beach in Mexico, with the Amy Butler Cosmo bags I sewed last summer. Great for the beach!

Above is the jump suit that I made last year towards the end of summer and only got to wear once. Very handy over a bathing suit for the beach.

Not a great photo, but here I am out one evening wearing my Colette Violet blouse and although you can't see it, I am wearing self stitched black cropped trousers as well.

In the above photo, taken with one of our friends, I am wearing a denim halter neck top (old Burda pattern) and a self stitched gypsy skirt.

But I didn't get photos of everything. There was also the Jalie black jean that I travelled in as the stretch denim is comfy on a plane for hours! The Colette Sorbetto that I did stitch especially for the holidays and wore to the beach with shorts and although I took my Sewaholic Lonsdale with me, I didn't get to wear it unfortunately!

If I had thought before we left I could have probably done a full self stitched holiday, at least one item a day. I would also have had the foresight to ensure that I had good photos taken of me in each item!! But anyway, I am pleased that my self stitched items have become a part of my wardrobe without being planned!!

Oh and I also wore a necklace that I made a while ago.
