I certainly didn't plan to post every two days, but I find myself with a few minutes spare, so why not do another post?
My buddy wanting in on the photo shoot! |
Day three saw me wearing my Colette Meringue skirt. I really like this skirt, even if a colleague calls it my tulip skirt because she says it reminds her of an upside down tulip! I wore it with a plain white blouse and brown shoes.
Before work! |
I love the necklace I am wearing. A friend bought it back from South Africa for me. I love the colors and wear it often.
After work!! |
A few observations from the afternoon shot:
Even if I start the day with my hair loose I end up tying it back sometime during the day. Sure sign I need to visit the hairdresser!!!!
I need a decent lap top bag, the company issue back pack just makes me look like an overgrown school girl, I bought a simplicity laptop bag pattern a while ago. This photo motivated me to purchase fabric (on sale) at Fabricland at lunch and I will attempt to make a new bag!
Did a quick change and then off to see Bryan Adams. Great concert. I wore jeans and a sleeveless Pendrell with a front pleat a la the Sorbetto.
My second Renfrew |
Friday, being casual day, I used the opportunity to wear my second Renfrew t-shirt. This is the cowl neck version. I changed it up a bit by attaching lace instead of the cuffs at the sleeve and bottom edge.
Close up of the sleeve |
Ooh, I really like the addition of the lace. I just ordered the Renfrew pattern and now I'm even more impatient for it to get here!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I have plans for several more!
DeleteI love your meringue! It's a great skirt for sewsters to spot, isn't it! And using lace on a Renfrew - great idea!
ReplyDeleteI love my Meringue. When I first saw it, I was not sure about the scallops, now I not only have the Meringue skirt, but two Pendrells with scallops as well!
DeleteI love the lace on your Renfrew, I may have to steal that idea.
ReplyDeleteSo many lovely Meringues - I think it is time for me to jump on the bandwagon.
Thanks. The lace just happened to be on my sewing table while I was sewing my Renfrew!
